Aguas Verdes Gallery

2 Km west from the towm of La Fortuna, on the way to the volcano.

Indigo Art Gallery

100 Mts East and 25 South from the Park La Fortuna.

At the heart of fortuna, at the foot of the Arenal volcano, in a colonial-Caribbean style building is Indigo Gallery. Through the works of twenty artists in Costa Rica, Indigo Gallery offers the possibility of an alternative look indispensable for travelers who also want to understand the soul of a people. The Indigo gallery doors are open to anyone wishing to venture out and explore the magical forest of Costa Rican art.

  

Colo Loco arts and crafts

10 Km south from La Fortuna, on the way to chachagua.

Costa Rica abounds with quality arts and crafts. And with quality craft stores.
But Coco Loco boasts some of the most stunning arts and crafts in the country. It is well worth going out of your way to visit.

Most of the pieces are made by Costa Rica's indigenous artists. All items on sale are bought directly from the artist at a fair price for their work. They even have a mola gallery of striking appliqué fabrics by Panama's Kuna peoples.

  

Original Grand Gallery

2 Km west from the towm of La Fortuna, on the way to the volcano.

As you leave the town of La Fortuna toward Tabacón, keep your eye on the right-hand side of the road. When you see a massive collection of wood sculptures and a building reading Original Grand Gallery , slow down and pull over. This local artisan and his family produce works in a variety of styles and sizes. They specialize in faces, many of them larger than a typical home's front door. You can also find a host of animal figures, ranging in style from purely representational to rather abstract.
